By accessing or using the website at burlingtoninsulationcompany.com or by engaging Burlington Insulation Company for any service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our website or engage our services. These terms apply to all visitors, customers, and others who access the site or receive services from us.
Burlington Insulation Company provides residential and commercial insulation services in Burlington, Vermont and surrounding areas. Our services include, but are not limited to, spray foam insulation, attic insulation, blown-in insulation, crawl space insulation, basement insulation, wall insulation, air sealing, vapor barrier installation, insulation removal, and related services. The specific scope of services for any project will be described in a written estimate or agreement provided to you before work begins.
All estimates are provided in writing and are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise stated. An estimate is not a binding contract until both parties have signed a written service agreement. Final pricing may differ from an estimate if:
We will notify you before proceeding with any work that would result in additional charges beyond the original estimate.
Scheduling is subject to availability. We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate your preferred dates. If you need to cancel or reschedule a confirmed appointment, please notify us at least 48 hours in advance. Cancellations made with less than 48 hours notice may result in a cancellation fee to cover scheduling and preparation costs. We reserve the right to reschedule jobs due to weather, equipment issues, or other circumstances outside our control, and will notify you as soon as possible if this occurs.
Payment terms will be specified in your written service agreement. In general, a deposit may be required to secure your scheduling date, with the remaining balance due upon project completion unless otherwise arranged. We accept payment by check, cash, and major credit cards. Invoices not paid within 30 days of the due date may be subject to a late fee. We reserve the right to pause or decline future work on accounts with outstanding balances.
To allow us to perform work safely and effectively, you agree to:
We warrant that all work will be performed in a professional and workmanlike manner. If you believe any portion of our work is defective, notify us in writing within 30 days of project completion and we will assess the issue and, if warranted, correct it at no charge. This warranty applies only to defects in our workmanship and does not cover damage caused by subsequent modification, misuse, water intrusion from sources outside our work, or normal wear over time. Material warranties, if applicable, are governed by the terms of the manufacturer.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Burlington Insulation Company's total liability to you for any claim arising from our services or this agreement shall not exceed the total amount you paid us for the specific project giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages of any kind, including but not limited to lost savings, lost income, or property damage not directly caused by our work. Some jurisdictions do not allow these limitations, so they may not apply to you in full.

If you have a dispute with us, please contact us first at contact@burlingtoninsulationcompany.com or (802) 307-1480. We will make a good-faith effort to resolve any issue quickly and fairly. If we are unable to reach a resolution through direct communication, disputes shall be submitted to non-binding mediation before either party initiates litigation. Any legal proceedings shall be conducted in the state and federal courts of VT.
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Vermont, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. By using our website or services, you consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts located in Vermont.
